## Working Title: Missed Connection ## Elevator Pitch Missed Connection is a visual novel run by three queer developers and artists. It is a small chunk of a larger story. ## The Story Devin (He/They) is part of a scavenger hunt that is going on during Pride month. He has made his way to the Castro during an especially busy day. His goal: find a placard of historical information inside Queer Arts Featured and snap a picture of it. This is the last one before he needs to meet back with his friends to turn in everything at a location downtown. This scavenger hunt is a more local version of GISHWES (Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World has Ever Seen); the Greatest Bay Area Scavenger Hunt, or GBASH. It is pronounce G-Bash. G-Bash is put on by teams of 15 in various colleges and high school seniors provided they are 18 before the start of the hunt. Devin comes in and finds it fairly quickly. After he puts his phone back into his bag, he bumps into Nia (she/they). They accidentally switch bags as they start talking and lose track of time. Nia is also participating in GBASH and had chosen the same landmark as Devin. They end up talking about several things before ever properly introducing themselves. Once Nia realizes how long they've spoken, she takes the bag that she thinks is hers and leaves. Devin rendez-vous with his team members and friends before either of them realize that Devin has the wrong bag.
